Crystal Palace keen to complete ambitious move for Bournemouth coach Andoni Iraola

Bournemouth’s unbeaten run in the Premier League stretches to 15 games as they continue to thrive under Iraola this season.

Iraola, who announced that he will be leaving Bournemouth, has been linked to a number of sides, including Chelsea and Manchester United, who are both coached by interim managers Calum McFarlane and Michael Carrick.

Now, with Crystal Palace manager Glasner - who has led the club to their first European final - departing at the end of the season, the Eagles are looking at all their options.

According to BBC Sport and The Standard, Chelsea are not favourites to appoint Iraola as their next head coach, as Palace lead the way to bring in the Spaniard in the coming months.

Iraola has not yet ruled out a move from Bournemouth to Selhurst Park and remains secretive on his future as both Palace and Chelsea fight for his signature.

One big variable in the race for Iraola is European football. The prospect of leading Palace into the Europa League could entice Iraola, whilst Chelsea are 9th and therefore well below the European qualification spots.

Iraola has his pick of the clubs heading into the final stretch of the campaign, and Chelsea must move quickly if they are to bring in the Bournemouth boss, who would cost nothing as he departs the Cherries in a few weeks' time.
